Welcome to the Heartland Museum complex in Clarion, Iowa!  We are a regional historical museum dedicated to life in the heartland of America.  With tractors, buggies, main street stores and more, we really do have something for everyone to enjoy.

Agriculture was, and is, the largest business in Iowa. From the family farms of the early years, to the expansive farms today, we preserve and celebrate our local history. Founded in 1999, five diverse groups in Wright County banded together to create this tribute to our heritage. Review our pages to get a sample of what you will see on your visit!  We are able to continue to provide fun education with the help of our donors.  Please see our Support page to learn how you can be part of Heartland Museum.
